(1) Before the commencement of this section, according to the suggestions made by the Commission regarding the protection of government and public lands, which was formed in accordance with the decision of the Government of Nepal, the Ministry may publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette and form a committee or working group to investigate the ownership of the frozen lands and the acquisition of the frozen lands and make necessary recommendations for solving such problems.
(2) On the basis of the recommendation given by the committee or working group as per sub-section (1), the ministry shall decide on the ownership and retention of government and public land.
(3) Regardless of what is written in sub-section (1), if the Government of Nepal deems it appropriate, the work as per sub-section (1) may be done through the relevant agencies of the Government of Nepal.
(4) Committee or working group formed according to sub-section (1) shall be in accordance with the procedure and work, duties and rights and term of office.
